We offer top-level instruction with professional and engaged teachers in a brand-new studio environment.  

 

Our focus is on the well-being and enjoyment of our students, and our goal is to help each dancer reach their personal best.

 

Blakey O'Brien classes are held at our own studio: THE STUDIO SPACE

 

 

 

Our main studio offers classes from Beginner Recreational, Beginner Competitive all the way to Open Championship.

We also have beginner classes at the Calgary Winter Club.  (members only)

 

Dancers are encouraged to perform and compete but it is not mandatory to do either.  We offer curriculum to suit all levels of skill and commitment.  We have dancers currently ranking in the top three in the world, and due to our dancers incredible fitness levels, we also have former students competing in the Olympics for running, and excelling in other sports across multiple disciplines.  No matter what a dancer aspires to, we will offer our support, and we encourage cross-training.

 

We also have dancers that just dance for the fun, fitness and social aspects.  We do a year-end show for families and offer several social and team-building events during the dance season.

 

Our teachers are experienced, mature and empathetic mentors who will offer top-shelf instruction in Irish Dance Technique, Style and Performance.

 

 

 

We do not ask families to do major fundraising, casinos, or bingos.
